Six expectant divers made their way to Långsjön on Saturday. Present were Cristina, Carolin, Carl, Martin och Cecilia (Björklund), and Glenn. By 11 am, the first pair was geared up and in the water. First dive pair was Carolin and Glenn. At the start of the dive, they startled a 1 meter gädda that had been sleeping on the lake bottom. This won them the "biggest fish" award for the day. Glenn attempted to guide via compass, but the needle kept spinning around and pointing in random directions. The pair had more than one chance to train for night diving by swimming through dark clouds of mud they had kicked up on the previous circle.

Prize for deepest depth went to Carl and Martin. After long searching, they found a little hollow. By holding their gauge right at the bottom, they reached a measured 4.1 meters. None of the other divers broke the 4 meter barrier.

A fine lunch in the brilliant sunshine, and the divers were ready for another go. Carolin had requested to see a kräfta. Several oblidged, making that dive also a success. Carolin also had a good chance to train away her fear of wrecks. The dive pair explored an old go-kart and a bicicle, both of which she faced with great bravery.

Several times the abundant wildlife was commented on. Fortunately, no ants found their way into the drysuits. Fish were also plentiful.

Shortly after 4 pm, the last of the divers packed up their gear and headed home. A fine day of diving had reached its end.
